Well you probably know by now.........I've moved to Power 98.

You can catch me on-air with my co-host Jenson Ho on Mon to Fri from 2 to 5pm for abit of afternoon madness......just to help you through the last hrs of your working day.

This should be my last post on this blog although I never say never. Just like I've changed stations, I'm also changing my blog to my official website www.elliottdanker.com It's still under construction but it should be up soon.

Goodbye

Yes it's just like I announced on friday, I've left 91.3.......I've decided to move on to other challenges!

And so I've said goodbye to 91.3 and I will be saying goodbye to this blog soon.

I'm not gonna say much but at this point I kinda wanna walk down my time at 91.3 after 2 years 3 mths........yup I've been there since March 2006 before the revamp.

I've gonna miss you guys and also to everyone else not mentioned, it's been a great experience and I've truely enjoyed it!

A time for encouragement and support!

Not the best start to Monday for a lot of people around me. Most of them greeted with bad news and the thought of a long tiring week to drag themselves through.

I did pretty ok on this Monday, it's just the people around me who are abit down......I kinda feel down too cos they are close to me.

But hey, if anything I'd like to give them some encouragment using the Spainish National Football team as an example.

Newly crowned European Champions (Sorry Christina and Belinda - my cousins in Germany). The team members have encouraged each other during the tournament in a way that they would blame themselves for their teammates poor performance.

Like for example, David Villa would say that Fernando Torres wasn't playing well because Villa himself wasn't up to his best. If he had played better then maybe Torres would score more.

Unity which I admire and a bond which has made them Champions of Europe.

Having said that, I wanna share a song with everyone who has had a bad Monday. Hopefully the rest of the week picks up and ends on a good note for you!

This song is from the Sex and the City soundtrack called "All dressed in love" by Jennifer Hudson.

A nice upbeat tune which should pick your spirits up and leave you with a smile on your face as you prepare for a brand new day! Hope the encouragement helps!

Singapore Toy and Comic Convention

Today Little Elliott visited a giant toy store........haha, well it was the Singapore Toy and Comic convention held at Suntec.........wonderfull!

I love toys, in fact I collect toys! Armed with just my Nokie 6500 Slide with 3.2 megapixel camera (pengz)....Danker moves in and snaps his own personal notable mentions!

First we have the doll collection.....no I don't keep dolls like this but all the colours caught my eye. I quite like the big eyes the dolls have.

Up next, old school toys!

That big robot toy on the left is power rangers......man, I used to own that toy so many years ago! Wow!

Ok, next the 3.2 megapixel camera finds its way into the Empire! Perfect timing in fact cos Star Wars Clone Wars will be in cinemas this August.

Check this out man, it's an entire army all waiting to greet the Dark Lord!

I've only ever seen photos of this but what we have here, its full on man!

And then the 3.2 megapixel has decided that its too crowded to take pics so off I go but not before the premier of Batman Gotham Knight.

Those who watched the premier were the first in the world to catch it........Batman anime style and also the tie in from the Batman Begins film to the upcoming Dark Knight sequel.

Change

How do you view change? To move on or to accept what fate throws at you? Interesting eh......it's something that happens to all of us everyday and we just deal with it.

I'm going through some changes in my life, being away on reservist over a week ago helped me think about those changes. The big question is, has it made me better or worse.........only time will tell.

Of course change doesn't always do good for you.......taking change the wrong way can cause you to totally mess things up. Anyway I brought up change because a change is coming.....soon!

On a lighter note, I've been spending lots of time on my PSP. I tell you that "football manager handheld" game is good lah, my Man Utd just got bought over my a rich tycoon......lots of transfer funds!

"Movie news: The Dark Knight latest pics..."

Here are the newbies, Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent and Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes, she replaces Katie Holmes.

Great actors to add to the crew and I'm sure that Two Face performance will be another talking point.

Of course we have Bruce Wayne and Alfred in the new batcave. Bruce actually moves to a penthouse in this movie cos his house got burnt down in the last one.

Here's another close up of the new batsuit. Very much like a high tech combat soldier, the belt however seems to be the same from the last batsuit.

The neck area of this suit is also different cos this time it allows Bruce to rotate his head while wearing the mask, previous batsuits didn't have this ability thus making it very uncomfortable.

I was at Cafe Del Mar on Saturday for Fey and Agnes's birthdays! Check out the cake below man, cool rite!

It was a surprise party planned by Fey's sister and I'm glad it turned out well although the 2 birthday girls nearly didn't arrive on time.

There we go, a picture with the 2 lovely birthday girls and I don't even know their ages........I suppose they rather it stay that way that I don't know!

I'm back from reservist, 2 weeks went by so quickly and here I am blogging again. I must say this was my first ICT and yeah it was a new experience, it some ways it felt like I was going into the army for the first time.

Back to being an MP was good, the surroundings were familiar but I had to make alot of new friends, I was the only one from my batch who returned.

Going outfield was pretty "sian" at first but the section grew in strength and would you believe we were one of the more outstanding ones..........we just made the best out of it and enjoyed ourselves.

I think we owe alot to each other for bonding and encouraging ourselves. So heres to GD 5 Section 4....Brian, Lucas, Ian, Ivan, the 2 Robins, Gary, Eugene, F.Y.P. as well as Lester our sect com.

Oh I've been watching Macross Frontier and I love it......ALOT! In fact I was listening to the ost before going outfield.

This is my fave scene so far as well as fave song. I kinda took the tune with me in my head before heading out in the tonner for outfield excersize.

When I got home I played this other tune from the series. It's kinda like my personal victory tune.

I like how it's sung, the words and all, your star is really what you make of it, it's up to you to do your best and reach as high as you can.

"If you are meant for something great, it will come your way with all the hard work you put into it. Your destiny is in your own hands, keep noble intentions and work hard"......some words of encouragement given to me this week.

Oh look at me, getting into full Macross mode.....haha but seriously it's great to be back and to Section 4.......see you next year!

I caught 2 movies this week. First was Sex and the city......yes indeed I actually watched it. It was funny, that goes without saying but what I liked was how the lives of the 4 main characters really showed life.

Take for example 2 quotes from the movie.

First "When your in your 20s you look for love, when your in your 30s you learn from your mistakes and when your in your 40s you pick up the bill" True.....YES!

Second quote is for the romantics "Ever thine, ever mine, ever ours" I don't need to say more, you romantics out there go use it.....haha!

Ok next movie was part of Kenneth's birthday celebration. Kung Fu Panda......damn funny lah! Is Kung Fu all skill and no luck.....well in the movie its mostly luck. The Panda I tell you is like a fluff ball, damn cute!

And over dinner we had our own panda to pass around.

First the lolitta clad girls, Charlene and Janet pose with the panda! Yes Sebastian, now you know who dressed up in "alice in wonderland" inspired costumes....haha!

It's none other than Eugene and it turns out not everybody has a happy ORD.....I won't mention anymore....haha!

Yes that would be me. I had a long day and was half asleep most of the time. Gosh it's tough being a panda.

Hey hey Mr Wong, celebrating old age. I'm telling you man, the headgear makes you look younger...you should wear it more often.

And there you have it, self entertainment on a birthday which also saw the birthday boy boomed by the B52, hence the face!

In other home news, my dad has taken to abit of gardening. It seems the old man has gotten bored these days and decided to decorate the balcony area.

And here we have his masterpiece........a rainbow fan in a flower pot. I'm very sure soon he will put it on his bicycle. I have no comments.

Call me a jerk one more time

The weeks almost over and I'll be heading for reservist soon. I went for the Suunto watch launch event earlier this event at the Marriot hotel poolside.

It was nice to see a few familiar faces like Rachel, June and Joyce whom I havent seen in ages man.

Well that's Joyce, an old friend and the host of the evening. Great job and of course looking great as always. Haha ok seriously the Suunto watch is a golf watch.

It's pricey but absoloutely gorgeous. There was a lucky draw with 3 of those watches to be won and I..............didn't win. Darn!

And over at Taka was a toy fair and I found me a Destiny Gundam. Check out my hero stance!

I'm about to head to bed but I wanted to do a post before I go snooze! Peaceful would be a way to describe this weekend, I hope your's has been good.

I really enjoyed this event, it was a showdown between 91.3 and our sister station 100.3, of course in the end either side won! The dude in front is Clarence Edwin, producer of "The Married Men"

We have a June baby this week, Kenneth (aka part 2 of the tripod) celebrates his birthday this Wednesday and I hear that 2 of our friends will be dressed up like the pic below.

True or not? I don't know, have to wait and see.

What I do know is that Sebastian (aka part 1 of the tripod), YOU ARE MISSING OUT! (potshot! hehe!)

"Punisher: Warzone..."

Here's a new promo shot of Ray Stevenson as the Punisher. This is gonna be interesting, I wanna see if he does a better job than Thomas Jane.

The release of this movie was pushed back till end of this year as producers didn't want to compete with all the major releases during the summer blockbuster period.

Something Walt Disney should have done with "Prince Caspian".

In case you haven't heard, all is not well in Narnia, producers have blamed heavy competion and blamed the release of the movie during summer as a reason for its reportedly low intake.

VIP Friday

It's the weekend! Rock on man finally. Jeremy and I kicked off our Euro 2008 preview on 91.3 today, 3 more segments to go. No England but I guess I'll try and enjoy it!

Today was also Toyota VIOS VIP Friday, so me and Jeremy picked up the winner Guat Hui and her friend Ruby from their work place then brought them for lunch at Bakerzin at Millenia Walk.

Thats Jeremy with Guat Hui and Ruby. That chic turned the tables on us cos when she saw the VIOS, she asked if she could drive it. So in the end she drove us to lunch!

The food was great.....pizza man! Well thats what I ate anywayz. The ladies provided nice conversations, overall a nice afternoon lunch with the winners.

Oh my copy of "Sex and the City" soundtrack came in today. I overheard the CD being played in some cafe over the week, can't remember where though.

I'm not keeping it, gonna give it to someone I know who loves the series. I'm sure she would like this for keeps.

Scarlett Ting, you crazy chic! I can't believe you pulled this off....you actually did it!

She got a ticket from a friend 6 days before the match, which meant she needed her visa, air ticket and leave.

Well she somehow managed to get all that done and her visa approved just ONE day before her flight. Off she went for the time of her life and she still made it back in time that week on Friday to give a presentation at a meeting.

Scarlett Ting, you are the Manchester United fan of the year in my books!

Street fest 08

Good mid week Wednesday to you, hope all is good! It's been a busy week so far, haven't had time to sit and blog about the weekend which was quite a funny one.

Sunday marked the Street Festival 2008 where an entire culture of cosplay decended upon the Tropics attrium at Suntec city.

I met up with Kenneth, Ming, Charlene and Janet to go check out some of the costumes and perhaps snap a few photos. Instead this is what I get!

Janet dumps her hangbag on me and pulls Kenneth (with DSLR) away to take pics. Ming you don't laugh.....quietly staying off the radar so you don't have to carry things.

But nvm, there's always a way out. So I hid the bag behind me while I walked around hoping no one would notice but SOMEONE managed to get a shot of it on his DSLR.

Jialat...there's no escape now because Charlene sees the bellboy opportunity and then this happens!

Haiz...very funny hor! I even have Sebastian all the way in Manchester laughing about this on facebook.

It was like this for most of the night....oh well, what to do. But I got one back on Kenneth at least...

"GI Joe: The real american hero..."

A while back I posted the cast pics of Snake eyes and Scarlett. And pics of the entire cast in constume were released on the net not too long ago.

Here's a set pic of Sienna Miler as the Baroness.

I like this photo, she looks pretty cool in black leather and the black hair suits her too. It seems that she's "bleeding" at her head, probably shooting some fight scene.

Here we are, at the end of the week. I hope you enjoyed this week's edition of the morning show I did with Jeremy Ratnam!

Yesterday I got my hands on 2 new comic books I chanced upon at Kinokuniya while I was having coffee. Vol.2 of the Death of Captain America finally is in man. I've been waiting for this edition to arrive in Sg for ages.

The other is Spiderman Brand New day, the follow up to One more day.

Basically the old Parker luck is bad, he's the dude we've come to know from the comics, struggling to pay the rent and re-fuel his webshooters and saving the world at the same time.

This segment is abit delayed...haha! I keep forgetting to put this up.

Darryl is a listener of ours and his tuition teacher is the BF of my friend Minz. Now he found out that his teacher's GF knew me and asked him to get my autograph.

I was really touched that this kid is a fan and has been supporting the show for a long time so I sent him a nice postcard from all the DJs at 91.3fm.

"Movie news: Dragonball the movie..."

Have you seen the new scans of the Dragonball movie? If not here you go...I wonder how this one is gonna turn out. If you ask me, I think it's gonna be tricky to pull it off.

Justin Chatwin as Goku with a pretty cool hair style I say. There's also Emmy Rossum as Bulma, I liked her in"The day after tomorrow".

More scans of the rest of the cast. Let's see how this one turns out when it hits cinemas next year.

This is actually an old song, it's been around for about 2 years and I only purchased it from itunes store today. I'm actually putting it up now cos I faced a few emo moments this week and I feel this song relates.

Even though this song is about the guy singing about his confidence and trying to overcome it to get the girl, I guess this is sort of my way of telling myself and the people I care about that I will keep trying my best, just like the dude in the video.

Fate is Fate!

"Fate is fate" those were the words of Man Utd manager Sir Alex Ferguson after a Paul Scholes volley sent Utd into the final just over 2 weeks ago.

Indeed in this year's Champions League final, it all went down to fate.

Here's the trophy on display at the Luzhniki stadiam in Moscow just before the match. Mind you the kick off was just about half an hour or so before midnight in Moscow.

This means the match started on 21st May and ended on 22nd May. Utd of course were given the lead through Cristiano Ronaldo, scoring his 42nd goal.

Frank Lampard pounced on a series of errors to score the equaliser just before half time.

The match went into extra time and eventually penalty shootouts.

Utd's man of the season, Ronaldo missed a penalty leaving Chelsea captain John Terry needing to score from the spot to win the title for Chelsea.

But in tradition with high football drama, Terry slips and misses putting Utd right back in it.

Ryan Giggs does the deed and Edwin Van Der Sar saves from Nicolas Anelka to win Utd's 3rd Champions league title!

Glory Glory Man Utd! We have done the double!

What a fantastic season to mark the 50th anniversary of the Munich Air disaster.

Happy Vesak Day, nice long weekend to relax at home, the only bad thing is the weather.....damn hot! Anyways Petrina and Joe are on leave from The morning show this week so 2 another people will be hosting it.

And it's none other than Jeremy and myself.

In today's episode, Jeremy ordered McDonalds breakfast online at 650am and by 940am it hadn't arrived. Why? because the fella didn't press the "enter" button.........looks like it's gonna be a funny week.

It's finally mid week Wednesday, in fact just an hr away to Thursday....weekend coming, shiok can rest! Just one week away to the Champions league final, thats something I can't wait for....are you ready?
Check this out, the Champions league trophy made out of beer cans on display in Thailand. Cool huh!

It arrived today, gala tickets to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Looks like another big one folks cos the invites are really cool.....just like the ones for Iron Man.

I left it on my table and took the picture above and I can just hear The Raiders March playing in my head. Oh I hope the movie is good man!

Ok I gotta address this issue. Now I usually won't buy such cute things but this Haro is something I'm really thinking about getting.

You'd know it if your a Gundam fan, can't have a Gundam series without Haro. This one is cool cos as you can see form the pic below, it's also a radio!

Sweet right! I can put this next to all the Gundams and and use the radio function.

My friend Kenneth has been planning on getting it and now Charlene has the means to import it from Japan.....ahh of course, it had to be Charlene, the girl gets all her stuff from Japan!

Ok very good....a plan is in motion!

Rock chic alert! Now you may be wondering who she is, well she was actually discovered on Myspace. In fact my brother introduced me to her music.

Very nice blend of country and rock. In fact Kate recently began a recurring guest spot in seven episodes of the television series One Tree Hill. She plays Mia, a young singer and keyboardist for a rock band fronted by Jason (Kevin Federline).

The video is a pretty clever one, its like cut outs being done throughout the song.

This girl is a smart one too, she is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in Psychology at the University of Phoenix (UOP) online while balancing her professional music career on the road touring.

Last night saw Manchester United win their 10th Premier League title and their 17th League title after a 2 - 0 win at Wigan. This just puts them 1 behind Liverpool's record of 18 League titles.

Ryan Giggs scoring the goal that gauranteed them the title on a night that marked his 758 appearance which equals Bobby Charlton's record.

He looks set to break that record should he make an appearance in the Champions League final.

10 times Premier League champions, that's my new desktop wallpaper which I got from www.manutd.com Loads more cool wallpapers there to celebrate the league win.

This is what's next on the agenda come May 21st in Moscow when the red devils face off against Chelsea for the Champions League trophy.

I did a poll on the Morning show today and 60% of listeners think Man Utd is gonna taste European glory....I really hope it comes true!

Not much going down in the world of movies over the weekend, however I did come across the video for Natasha Bedingfield's new single.

It's a nice upbeat number with a catchy tune. She performed this track about 2 weeks ago on American Idol. Enjoy it!

Well the weekend is here and the weather seems to be nice and cool too, hopefully the sign of a good weekend with Man Utd playing for the title against Wigan tmr!

As you know, 91.3 was the official radio station for the Marie Digby showcase at Velvet Underground yesterday. What a nice acoustic set from Marie as well as her guitarist Lance.

I got to speak to her after the show thanks to Li Fen, who was running the show and Marie is really nice to talk to, bright personality and it looks like her career as a musician is gonna go long and far.

I was at the VIP area, which was pretty close to her. In fact I didn't have to zoom very far. Of course thanks to Jeannie from the promo dept who put me up in the VIP area....you rock babe

Picture time! You know, I kinda got nervous at this part cos She accidentally nearly held my hand when we were about to take the pic....*Blushes....hehe!

All in all, a very enjoyable evening with my kind of music. Check out her video for the title track of her album "Unfold"....it's my fave song from that album.

The Heroes are coming back this September with season 3: Villians.

Below is the promo for season 3 where we will find out if Nikki and Nathan are dead. As you recall, Nikki was trapped in a fire while Nathan was shot at a press conference just before he revealed his powers.

This promo insipred me to purchase the Heroes soundtrack from itunes store. Woo hoo I finally made use of my itunes gift card, which was a xmas present from charlene last year...opps, abit late rite.

I attended the premier of Speed Racer yesterday and I came out of the cinema with an experience. The colour and computer effects were mind blowing. Every new frame of the movie felt as if you were in a video game!

The story is simple, defying the odds and winning every race with the one most important thing, true support from your love ones. With that, the true warmth and support from the people that matter most, a man can conquer any race no matter how difficult it may be.

When I left the cinema I was inspired by just one word, a word that can make a difference when faced with an obsticle. Sometimes you just need to "Listen"

Last week I bought the Exia Gundam from sunshine plaza and I finished it by Monday.

Check it out in all its glory, the close combat Gundam in the 00 series. Also known as the Gundam of 7 blades.

Ok I'm sure most of you have seen the new "Dark Knight" trailer by now. Looks like some pretty sweet stuff with new scenes showing Harvey Dent.

I've posted this video of the movie trailer I came across on the net.

I'm not sure if any of you have seen this but its a clever edit of the 1989 Batman movie trailer together with the first trailer of the Dark Knight movie on split screen. And they do appear to be of the same format. Most cool!

Met up with Kenneth and Leanna for dinner in Tampines. We went to a restaurant called "Illy's" over at Century Square and the food was great. Second time there actually but I didnt take pics of the food the other time.

So it would seem I have made Leanna the greedy one with all the food to herself....haha! No seriously check out the fries man, damn nice lah. And Kenneth's Bangers and Mash, I ate that the last time.

Pan Cakes anyone? That was desert, we wanted waffles but sold out lah. Excuse to go back next time!

Yesterday was the launch of the new 91.3 Thundertruck, the crew was out at East Coast in the afternoon in the blazing hot sun!

It was nice to see lots of listeners come by and say hi and to check out the new truck cause now it's got serious speakers by Vibe British Audio and the new designs on the panel of the truck is by Aeon Customs.

Check out the back of this baby, there's an LCD tv to go with those massive speakers. You can plug in an Xbox or PS3 to that.....woo hoo can you imagine the gaming fun you'll have!

I seem to be getting into the habit of blogging Man Utd wins but I can't help it. We're at the climax of the season and I'm glad Utd are hitting good form.

A 4 - 1 win against West Ham at home was perfect for morale with just 2 more games to go. Away to Wigan then off to Moscow to face Chelsea.

You know, I really didn't like Ronaldo esp after how he got Wayne Rooney sent off at the 2006 World Cup (I'm an England fan). I know he's a skilled player but I honestly hoped he would have left Old Trafford after that incident.

But now 2 years later, I hope he doesn't leave (Puts foot in mouth)...haha! 40 goals this season is a massive contribution and with 2 games to go, I hope he scores more!

Speed Racer opens next week and I've got my preview invites.....woo hoo! I'm going with a chic who used to be abit of a racer herself so I think it's gonna be great.

He said this when he told me not to take the Man Utd defeat to Chelsea too badly, everything would even out and guess what....it has!

Alright on to serious business! Man Utd beat Barcalona in the 2nd leg of the Champions league semi final this morning at Old Trafford. The goal scored from Paul Scholes in the 14th minute from about 30 yards out!

Woo Hoo, we're in the final! What a brilliant strike from the man who missed out on the 1999 final through suspension, well he looks set to play in Moscow come May 21 in what will be an all English final for the first time in history.

Who will face United in Moscow? Liverpool or Chelsea? Well we don't have to wait very long to find out.

"Movie of the week: Iron Man..."

This is a good one staring Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark. I've been waiting for this for months and last night was the premier at Lido.

Boy it was worth the wait cos you will not leave the cinema disappointed. If your a fan of the comic, you'll notice some differences in certain characters but don't worry cos it all works out well.

Robert Downey Jr delivers a fantastic performance as Tony Stark adding alot of wit to the character, theres also a certain charisma about him that makes him perfect for the role.

Last night's premier was a pretty big deal too as it was the launch of the Anti-Piracy trailer. There was a reception near the open area where Starbucks is at Lido cinemas.

I found this outdoor banner of the new Batman movie, online.

This banner is the one being used in Hong Kong at the moment for the highly anticipated DC comic flick which stars Christian Bale as Batman and the late Heath Ledger as the joker.

www.whysoserious.com is a virual campain that's being run and recently people who have gone to the website and solved a series of puzzles managed to take a first look at the new trailer.

I managed to see the bootleg version online before it was taken off and although it wasn't very clear...there's alot of new footage in it. The official version will be online this sunday and I can't wait to get a clear view of it.

Ok, I'm plenty pissed! I mean, what kind of bozzo refereeing was that anyway. I'm talking abou the Man Utd vs Chelsea game. Look when the ball was played into the area Michael Carrick didn't lift his hands at all and there was absoloutely no chance he could get out of the way.

Plus EVEN if he could, the ball was still headed for Rio Ferdinand. That being said, how can the ref give a penalty for an intentional handball on the context that it prevented a clear goal scoring opportunity. Isn't that the reason why penalties are given in the first place? I'm surprised that the ref knew all this and just conveniently decided to listen to the linesman.

I haven't blogged in a few days, been kinda busy and I've actually been thinking about what to blog about. So I've gathered a few things I've done over the past 4 days and put a nice post together.

I went to the Singapore Flyer on Sunday not to go on the ride but for Popeye's chicken, yeah I know it's kinda lame but it beats travelling all the way to the airport for it.

Of course I'll be on it come July when Sebastian returns, that's one outing we have planned out.....up the flyer with the rest of the group, hopefully there will be enough of us to occupy one cabin all to ourselves. Oh the mayhem I foresee.....

What's next, I discovered these next set of photos thanks to Sebastian. Check out how cool this sound system is man! Don't you wish you had one of these in your living room

This is the front layout. I'm not sure of the brand though, but heck who cares, it's bloody cool!

GI JOE: THE REAL AMERICAN HERO

Not exactly "first look" but here are the releases of the promo pics for Scarlet and Snake eyes from the GI Joe movie that's due out next year.

Talk about sexy, check out that ass!.....opps, sorry got carried away. This is Scarlet fully equiped with trademark crossbow.

The suit looks a little like the one from the x-men movie with additional armour but hey I'm not complaining cos I think it looks great!

Gulp.....it's Snake eyes, the loner with killer moves. One moment he's using a sword and the next he switches to hand gun! Deadly combo with black stealth gear, the mark of a ninja!

Well that's about it, apart from the movie I saw on Tuesday with Janet. It's Doomsday, the story about a deadly virus that appears in Glassgow.

The government seals the town off but 25 years later it surfaces again. They send in a team led by Major Eden Sinclair, played by Rhona Mitra (HOT!!!) to go back into the sealed city in search of a cure.

Go catch it in cinemas near you, provides great action scenes with a nice touch of humour. Check out the trailer below.

This has been a long time coming, we've kept putting it off since the begining of the year for a whole bunch of reasons. Me changing shifts on air and getting busy, Kenneth with his school projects and then there's Eugene who has had some family matters to attend to.

This week, it was finally gonna happen. The Indiana Jones movie marathon just in time to prepare ourselves for the upcoming installment in cinemas this May, Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

But even after all the delays, this movie marathon was still gonna have to wait some more time before it took off.

Eugene is late again, so here I am on my PSP cos I got new games man! Need for speed pro street and Football manager..........damn shiok man, now I can play football manager on the bus or anywhere I want instead of on my laptop

Unknowingly in front of me, Leanna has taken my WWE belt and wants to be a wrestler. Oh but that's not all........

Kenneth looks on as EVERYBODY is waiting for Eugene, hungry, restless and anxious to get the movies started. It's like 845pm and we have 3 movies to get through.

Now this was an outing that kinda happened out of nothing. You see Leanna need stuff from my PSP so I brought it down.

Leanna didn't bring her laptop but then Kenneth had his. I had a data cable with me so My PSP to Kenneth's laptop and then Kenneth's laptop to Leanna's PSP, complete with new memory stick.

Eh I found out Leanna is a comic book junkie too, cool man. Along comes Eugene complete with Eelin, hahaha this 2 damn cute couple. Janet dropped by for a while too.

Finally after 2 days walking around thinking about it, I bought the Gundam Virtue model last Thursday at Taka and it was on sale.

I just finished assembling it today. Took my own sweet time with this one cos it's one of my favourites in the Gundam 00 series.

Man, I took pics of my progress everyday and I'm feeling good now that it's completed. The first of the 4 Gundams I plan to complete from the Gundam 00 series.

Wooo......it's finally been done! The title belts!

Herbert and I bought the WWE replica title belts this week at last. His is the Heavyweight championship belt from RAW and mine is the Championship belt from SMACKDOWN.

It's great man, we've been wanting to buy this for the longest time. It's mainly for self entertainment but you gotta admit, it makes a cool display in your room!

I went for Camp Comedy organised by Fly Entertainment last nite with Janet, Herbert and Charlene. It's basically a week of stand up comedy shows at Powerhouse at St James.

So last night's show featured Shawn Felipe and our very own Sebastian Tan.

Shawn was pretty good with his own blend of jokes, I liked how it talked about living with his Thai Mother.

But the main highlight was when Broadway Beng Sebastian Tan came on.......wah lau the hokkien jokes were damn funny I couldn't take it man. Kudos to the superfly team and all the organisers. Looking forward to the next one.

Met up with Kenneth, Herbert, Charlene and her friend Lorraine yesterday for a cosplay event. Of cos the guys weren'r dressed up but the girls were.

My first time attending such an event and I'm amazed at the culture surrounding it. A whole lot of people dressed up in outfits from anime/comics all gathered to share common interests, make new friends and put their costumes on display.

I'm very impressed with it and I really think that some of these costumes are great. It was a fruitful event and I'm looking forward to checking out the next one in May.

Eugene joined us for dinner, it's been a while since we last met. Man.......he's under abit of stress and he was just letting it out in a funny way. There were sooo many jokes and everyone was just making fun of everyone else...........I'd say it was one of the most enjoyable outings I've been on all this week.

Let's just say that there has been something missing in my life this week but as of right now........I'm feeling good again!

St Patrick's day came early yesterday with a bar hop organised by Maxim and Guiness.

I hosted the event which covered 4 bars. We started off at about 630pm at Durty Nelly's then moved on to Dubliner's, on to Crazy Elephant and lastly Molly Malone's.

Wow there were Guiness drinks, Maxim and Guiness babes and a whole lot of partying! The places were packed man, esp at the last stop at Molly Malone's. There was barely room to move! They also had a really good band but I didn't manage to catch their name. None the less it's definately a place you should check out!

I liked Dubliner's too cos it was my first time there and I felt it had a nice atmosphere. The lady boss Jac was also very nice!

I found this on the web and I thought it'd be interesting to share.

It's the alternate ending to "I am Legend". I guess audiences were a little disappointed that Will Smith's character, Robert Neville died in the original ending but if you watch the alternate version you might like it better.

I liked the original ending but this ending works very well too because it does create a very intense moment between Robert Neville and the lead vampire. It also kinda sets his mind to perspective because he says "I'm listening". (You would have had to watch the movie to understand what I mean)

Knight Rider is back. The 2 hr pilot episode premiered on NBC on 17 Feb 08 and it's been getting mixed reviews.

But hey as a fan of the old Knight Rider series I'm quite pleased that it's back. I love the new KITT. Ford Mustang, american muscle man! It's got a more bad ass look and Val Kilmer voices KITT this time, he speaks in the same way he did as Batman in "Batman Forever" which is a very nice touch.

David Hasselhoff makes a guest appearance as the original Micheal Knight, the father of the new driver of KITT; Mike Traceur, a former US ranger.

Another thing to look out for is the re-mixed theme. It's the old Knight Rider theme given a modern mix......wicked!

I wanted to blog over the weekend but I've been busy.

Last week was the Valentines Day party at B One and boy was it happening! Lots of booze, good looking people and it was great fun. Posted a couple of pics for you to check out.

The down side was that I had to be up bright and early for the morning show so I had to leave early.....oh well, it was fun while it lasted!

Bacadi Martini had an event at The poolside at Marriot Hotel last night, which was a pretty posh event I must say.

Met some old friends there, Cash, Samantha, Rachel, Jackie, Ning and Leslie. It was kinda crowded so we didnt have much time to catch up but it was nice seeing them after so long!

Happy Lunar New Year, it was a nice holiday. Spent time with my mother and relatives and also close friends.

I'm back on the Morning show this week with a very messed up body clock...woo hoo the only cure is coffee.

Sunday was pretty great, I saw "The Mist" and all I have to say about the ending is "Stephen King I hate you". You'll understand what I mean if you've watched it.

Met up with Janet and Herbert to go Dragonfly for abit.....just to catch Eric Ng and his band perform the first set.

This week England Boss Fabio Capello decided to opt out Former England Captain David Beckham from the England squad against Switzerland, meaning the LA Galaxy star would have to wait for his 100th cap.

The reason given was that Capella felt that Beckham wasn't match fit having not played competitive football for 2 months. The midfielder insisted that he was fit as he had been training with Arsenal

I guess as a fan I am somewhat disappointed. I mean considering all that he has done for England over the years. He's a player who always gives 100 percent and a milestone 100th cap is really not too difficult to give considering it's just a friendly match. But hey.......what do I know, I ain't no football team manager.

Check this out......I think this sounds very familiar. Remember a certain wally with a brolly who wanted to make his mark on being England coach by dropping Beckham only to turn to him for help at the latter stages of Euro2008 qualifying. He got sacked in the end!

And Capello who prefers more pacey wingers in his team also dropped Beckham in favour of Jose Reyes in his Real Madrid days. As a result Beckham decided to swop Real for LA but not before bouncing back to help Real to the La Liga title. Capello got sacked!

Don't get me wrong, I support Capello as England boss and it does take more than just training with Arsenal to gain match fitness. But what about the subs bench??? Hmmm........we'll see.

Now here's an album you might wanna check out. It's OneRepublic's Dreaming out loud album and they also happen to be artist of the week in The Zone on 91.3FM.

It's a rock album but its cleaverly arranged guitar acoustics and piano sounds created a haunting tune to most of the tracks. They kind of remind me of The Verve at certain songs.

My personal favourite tunes are "Stop and stare" as well as "Prodigal". An album you definately should check out.

The end to a knight's tale

I don't usually write such posts but the death of Heath Ledger really shocked me.

At only 28, he was indeed very young and talented. According to reports, despite his split from Michelle Williams, he was a very doting father, constantly seen walking with his daughter on his shoulders.

He was found dead in his loft in NYC with sleeping pills scattered next to him leading to a possible accidental overdose. He stated earlier that he had only 2 hrs of sleep each night for the past couple of days.

I admit I do admire his work, I liked "A knight's tale" cause it was an inspiring movie about the human spirit and how one should fight for what he wants and desires. I think just like the rest of the world, I'm looking forward to his potrayal of the Joker in "The Dark Knight".

Hollywood has certainly lost a talented actor. Rest in Peace Heath Ledger.

It's back.....an all new 2 hr movie based on the original "Knight Rider" series is gonna be shown on NBC come 17 Feb.

Man, I can't wait to watch this...........it's set in the future where there's a new KITT.......called the knight 3000. And boy is it a sweet ride, a black Mustang GT......wooo hoo with white racing stripes.

And the lead character is Michael Knight's son. There's also gonna be a special appearance from David Hasselhoff.

We didn't plan on this till the last minute but we had another movie marathon last night......well it was just one movie.

This week was Beverly Hills Cop...........man I've seen this film in ages I actually forgot most of the story so it seemed like i was watching for the first time......well sort of.

Anywayz it was good laughs, had some chocolates to go with it courtesy of Charlene. Herbert sit on the floor till backside pain and as for Kenneth.....well Kenneth was Kenneth. Hahaha!

Here's a movie I caught last night...."Dan in real life"

This is Dan, he's very sway. His wife pasted away four years ago and he has to be a single parent to 3 daughters (2 of them are going through puberty and 1 is in the 4th grade)....jialat!

He takes the girls up for the yearly family reunion with the entire family.....all relatives in a mad house, meets a girl there at a bookstore, falls for her but she turns out to be his brother's girlfriend.....Ouch!

Go catch the movie, it's quite heart warming.

I had a pretty good weekend, the 2nd movie marathon went well. Last week was the Back to the future trilogy. This week was Ghostbusters 1 and 2.

We had the movie group there, Herbert, Kenneth, Charlene, Eugene and we has his brother Eustance join us this week.

Food, booze and comedy, each of us was related to a character in the show. Kinda made it more fun from a self entertainment point of view.

Yup, inspired by Will Smith's character from "I am Legend", I've been listening to Bob Marley. Met my lil sis Denise to help her project group with an interview yesterday morning.

Apparently they have to interview someone form the media industry so she called me. I was happy to be able to do it, I kinda understand how it felt as a student looking for help from older people who were in the industry so I was more than willing to do it.

Well Denise is doing good, she's now i cheerleading........wow....my lil sis is one of the "in" people in school eh! Haha!
